What happens at the first appointment
All clinic consultations are held via Zoom.
You will be met by a student just before your appointment time and they will be your contact person throughout the course of your treatment.
Your case is confidential to the clinic and will only be viewed by the third or fourth year clinic tutor and their students.
Cases for the clinic are recorded you and will be asked to sign a consent form in order to allow that to happen.
During the consultation one student takes your case with the clinic tutor present to observe.
The rest of the class will view the recording of your case in class
The student who took your case will contact you to arrange for postage of the remedy and to arrange your follow-up appointment.

Where do the Homeopathic Remedies come from?
Where do homeopathic remedies come from?
The homeopathic remedies prescribed in our clinic are supplied by Irish or European homeopathic pharmacies that are licensed and regulated under EU standards.
Are remedies made by students or practitioners?
No. Remedies are manufactured by Irish or European regulated homeopathic pharmacies. Students and practitioners are trained to dispense remedies correctly and safely and to select the most appropriate remedy for each individual case.
Are homeopathic remedies regulated in Ireland?
Yes. Homeopathic remedies supplied in Ireland fall under EU regulatory frameworks and are prepared according to recognised standards such as the European Pharmacopoeia. Pharmacies producing these remedies must meet requirements for quality, safety and manufacturing processes.
How are homeopathic remedies made?
Remedies are prepared from natural substances using a standardised process of dilution and succussion. This takes place in controlled pharmacy environments with quality controls, documentation and batch tracking.
Have homeopathic remedies been tested?
Yes. Remedies are tested through a process called proving, where substances are given to healthy volunteers and the resulting symptoms are carefully recorded. This information forms the basis of homeopathic prescribing and has been supported by long term clinical experience.
Why do remedies sometimes come in simple bottles?
Homeopathic remedies are often dispensed in small glass bottles to protect the remedy and avoid contamination. The simplicity of the packaging does not reflect the level of regulation involved in producing the medicine itself.

The difference between one to one sessions with a student under supervision and the clinic
The School provides clinical training for our students in two ways to help them develop their case and practice management skills. One is in the School clinic as outlined above and the second is in one-to-one consultations with students. For one-to-one consultations the difference is that the student takes your case either in person or via Zoom. Following the consultation the student brings your case to their supervisor where it is analysed and discussed. Once a remedy has been agreed the student will post it to you. They will also arrange your follow-up appointments. The commitment required is the same in both cases.
The cost for a one-to-one session is €50 (price does not include remedy/postage) for an initial consultation, and €35 (price does not include remedy/postage) for follow-ups. This fee covers the cost of the supervision for the student only.
All of our supervisors are professional registered homeopaths with extensive experience.
