“The night before I began my Homeopathic journey I spent hours deliberating whether to do Acupuncture or Homeopathy as both were commencing the next morning. Being from the West of Ireland I would have to travel to both of them so this was not a deciding factor. I knew very little about homeopathy except using bucket loads of Arnica on my two sons after football matches!! In the end I made my decision and chose to study homeopathy.
I spent the first couple of months settling in and by Christmas I was hooked and knew I had found what I had been looking for all these years, it was like “coming home” Within the confines of college life, I found support like I have never experienced before in my life. This was not only from the lecturers but from my class. Over the four years friendships have been formed and will continue for life.
During the four years I have learned so much not only about the workings of Homeopathy, remedies, cases etc but even more so about myself. I have gained a quiet self-confidence I didn’t have before. I have so enjoyed helping people and listening to their life stories and it is an absolute privilege to be able to work in this way. It is such a joy to work with patients and by using the correct homeopathic remedies the possibilities of cure never ceases to amaze me.
During my last year of college, my oldest son has been having treatment for Leukaemia and is being treated both homoeopathically and also with conventional medicine. To date he has never had a “down” day, the remedies “hold his hand” (as a teenage girl I treated described how her remedy helped her) They keep him buoyant emotionally as well as physically. Yes, he has had three serious infections to date, but on each occasion he has made rapid recovery with the help of acute treatment. He is treated constitutionally and with tissue salts to help with fatigue, which has been minimal and nausea, which has also been minimal. Homeopathic treatment for myself has also helped me to cope with the physical issues of always being there for him and the emotional symptoms of worry and concern for him. For this I would like to sincerely thank my own homeopath who has been “gold” throughout this time.
Yes it is true to say that Homeopathy will “Hold Your Hand” every step of the way.”
